In this shot, you can see the wheels on the bikes, and as they are riding on the road the lyric sings "I learnt to drive".
In this shot you can see the 2 boys holding each others hand, as this is being played the lyrics sings "Grab your mother's keys we're leavin'".
In this shot, you can see the youth against the fence and over the fence there is a smoke coming out from far and a helicopter flying towards the smoke, and the lyric sings "that one day we'd be fighting in a suburban war". This lyrics suggests that this is a suburban war.
In this shot you can see the youths close up against the fence and watching over whats happening on the other side, during the lyric sings "your part of town against mine" meaning the town across the fence is in a suburban war against the side where the youths are.
In this shot, you can see the couple all happy and enjoying themselves, while the boys are playing with their BB gun, however lyrics sings "We were already bored" so it's singing the adverse.
In this shot, again you see the couple and they are all loved up as the lyric sings "I'm moving past the feeling" as they are expression their feelings towards each other by body language.
In this shot you can see 2 boys running around and messing about, you can see the oy in the white t-shirt is holding his BB gun and as you can see it, the lyric sings "Kids wanna be so hard" expressing these kids are holding/playing with BB guns because they think it makes them stronger and "hard".
In this shot, you can see the 3 boys running about and as they are the lyric sings "but in my dreams we're still screamin' and runnin' through the yard".
In this shot, you can see the boys riding through the path and there is a wall in the background, as this shot plays, the lyric sings "And all of the walls that they built in the seventies finally fall" which implies with the wall in the background and by "fall" it may be a metaphor that the these boys friendship will end sometime soon?
In this shot, you can see the 3 youths like a shadow and houses in the background as the lyric sings "And all of the houses they built in the seventies finally fall" this might imply that the friendship concentrating the 3 youths might split.
In this shot, you can see the boys riding through their town at night as the lyric sings "I'm moving past the feeling and into the night" the shot changes at the exact moment of when the lyric sings "into the night".
In this shot, you can see one of the boys and his mother i'm assuming is holding a baby (daughter) and the lyric sings "Why I want a daughter while I'm still young".
